Utah!

Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Arches & Canyonlands

We could have easily spent another month in Utah. Great hikes with stunning views. One of our more memorable hikes on the entire trip was at Bryce going down into the hoodoos. A bit challenging considering the high elevation (around 9000') and how quickly the hike descended. Needless to say the way back up was slow going.

Moab was a perfect place to camp for several nights. Somewhat touristy but situated right between Arches and Canyonlands. Very active town with the rock climbers, hikers and bikes everywhere. No doubt will be back, we have planned several hikes, white water rafting and a 4 day off road drive / camping trip on the floor of the canyon.

The Shoe Tree

Several other hikes are on our list including the Angel's Landing hike in Zion. There is actually a Shoe Tree just outside the park. They say you hang up your hiking shoes after that hike because nothing else will compare. We WILL make this hike "Next Time"!

We have a very large "Next Time List" for places all over the country.  Utah is definitely on it. Can't wait to go back!!
